94 Years

Yup. That is how long my Nanny lived to. She passed away on February 23rd at 94 years old. Can you even believe that? She was born in 1916, and lived a long, full life.

Scrap Booking for Niff

One of the support groups that my Mom and I attend, have a giant book of all the children who passed away. My Mom wanted to add Jen to the book, and I said I would help.

Sister Frame

My Mom gave me a frame with a cute sister quote around it, and my Dad put a picture of me and Niff in it. I brought it into work today, so I can see it everyday.

“Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.”

My best friend found this poem to be helpful when she lost her father, so she gave it to me. It makes me cry every time I read it, but it makes me feel a little bit better at the same time.

To my dearest family, some things I’d like to say…
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I’m writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there’s no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
