Blogging Your Way Through Grief

The Compassionate Friends’ 2013 National/International Conference in Boston, MA

Around this time last year, I had some exciting news to share. Well, I have some more great news to share. I was asked to present again at the The Compassionate Friends’ 2013 National/International Conference in Boston!

I’ve accepted to present again, and will be enhancing my topic from last year, Blogging Your Way Through Grief. I got so much positive feedback from last year’s presentation, that I wanted to do it again.

Recap of The Compassionate Friends 35th National/5th International Conference

Boy, oh boy, it has been a busy week for yours  truly. Mom and I landed late Sunday night, and didn’t get back home until 2:00AM Monday morning. From there, it has been a constant race to try to make up lost time at work, as well as trying to prepare for my vacation next week with my Lobster. However, on this rainy Sunday, I am committing myself to recapping my recent trip to The Compassionate Friends 35th National/5th International Conference in Costa Mesa, California.

Update: I’ve been working on this post Sunday, Monday and now even on Tuesday

Blogging Your Way Through Grief

Well, after a long weekend in California, I am back home. My presentation went so well (far better than I expected)! I don’t have time to right now to recap the whole conference, but I wanted to share with you my presentation in the meantime.

Memory Board

Well, the time has finally come. Tomorrow, my Mom and I leave for California for the TCF Conference. I’m mostly packed up, and have been running around doing last minuet stuff all week. One of the things I needed to do was get pictures of Jen to hang up on the Memory Board that will be at the conference. The directions stated:

Memory Boards: Bring a picture no larger than 8”X10” or a memento to place on the memory boards. Spend as much time as you’d like looking at the pictures and reading the stories.

So, you know I had to make ours amazing…
