All Your Random Acts of Kindness

I must say, I have the most amazing friends and family. Friday was a sucky day, but I loved every singe text message and Facebook message from everyone, sharing what they did for their Random Act of Kindness. It was really nice to read about all the good things happening in memory of Jennifer.

Recap of The Compassionate Friends 35th National/5th International Conference

Boy, oh boy, it has been a busy week for yours  truly. Mom and I landed late Sunday night, and didn’t get back home until 2:00AM Monday morning. From there, it has been a constant race to try to make up lost time at work, as well as trying to prepare for my vacation next week with my Lobster. However, on this rainy Sunday, I am committing myself to recapping my recent trip to The Compassionate Friends 35th National/5th International Conference in Costa Mesa, California.

Rainbow in Jennifer Land

Yesterday, I got the best tweet from one of my sorority sisters. I looked at my phone, saw I had an “@” mention, and noticed it was a link to a picture. Intrigued to what it could be, I opened the link, and then started to cry.

Mother’s Day 2012

While many of you may have been celebrating Mother’s Day with a fancy brunch, I celebrated Mother’s Day in my garage and along side Rt. 9D in Cold Spring.

Saturday night, my Mom and Dad went to Cold Spring, and brought home the beautiful white cross that Jen’s friends made for her and put along the side of the road at the scene of her accident. The cross was leading pretty bad, and the wood was starting to fall apart in spots. My parents brought it home, and picked up supplies to reinforce the wood, so that it would keep its shape. Saturday night, I carefully went over all the writing to make sure the:
